Choose the xBoox workflow that matches whether you need to track dedicated bank and credit-card balances.

Simple Tracking

Choose Simple Tracking when you only need to record business income and expenses.

  • Record Expenses and Income manually.
  • Do not select Pay From or Deposit To accounts.
  • Banking, Transfers, Rules, Reconcile, and Journal Entries are hidden.
  • Transactions do not wait for bank matching.

Continue to Simple Tracking.

Bank Account-Based Tracking

Choose Bank Account-Based Tracking when the Workspace tracks dedicated bank or credit-card balances.

  • Expense entry requires Pay From.
  • Income entry requires Deposit To.
  • .qbo import and Bank Transactions are available.
  • Transfers, Rules, and Reconcile are available.
  • Manual transactions may participate in bank matching.

Corporation Workspaces use this setup. Continue to Bank Account-Based Tracking.
