A transaction cannot be edited or deleted
xBoox protects transactions whose accounting state is controlled by Banking, matching, reconciliation, Journal Entries, or a system workflow.
Manual transaction
An unmatched and unreconciled manual Expense or Income can normally be edited or soft-deleted.
Bank-posted transaction
Undo the row from Banking > Posted and repost it with the correct accounting information. The Expense or Income detail may still allow supported metadata changes such as Note, Tags, or attachment.
Matched transaction
Resolve or remove the bank match through the applicable Banking workflow before deleting the book transaction.
Reconciled transaction
Open Reconcile History and reopen the statement period with a reason. After the reconciled state is removed, correct the related transaction through its source workflow.
Journal Entry
A posted Journal Entry cannot be edited, deleted, or voided. Reverse an eligible manual entry. Reverse a system entry from the controlled workflow that created it.
Bulk delete
Bulk delete may remove eligible manual rows and skip protected rows. Review the result counts rather than assuming the entire selection was deleted.
Permission
If the record is otherwise eligible but actions remain unavailable, confirm that you are the Owner or an Accountant with transaction-edit permission.
