Review the General Ledger

Trace account activity across transactions and Journal Entry lines for a selected period.

Filter the ledger

  1. Open Reports > General Ledger.
  2. Set From and To dates.
  3. Optionally filter by Account, Account Type, Transaction Type, or Cleared status.
  4. Use Search to narrow visible rows.
  5. Review the account opening, activity, and resulting balance information shown by the report.

Journal Entries

Posted Journal Entry lines appear with transaction type journal_entry, their Journal Entry number, source label, and line or header description. Reversed originals and posted reversal entries remain visible so the audit trail is preserved.

Export and print

Use Export CSV for the current filtered ledger or Print for the browser print view.

Important boundaries

  • General Ledger is account detail, not the raw Bank Transactions review queue.
  • Journal Entries use not_applicable for cleared status.
  • Needs-review transactions may be excluded from final accounting reports.
  • Changing a source transaction may change future report results; Audit Log preserves applicable change activity.
